Universal Engineering began its life in 2001 with the takeover of an old established Engineering Company with over 50 Years history called Monk Bros.

Since that time the company has grown and purchased significant new equipment to become one of the Largest and best equipped companies in the East Coast Region. The Company is based around 3 departments in Sheet Metal, Heavy fabrication and Precision Machining allowing the manufacture of a diverse range of products.

A strong feature of the company is its Design focus with one of the Owners being a Qualified Engineer with over 3 Decades experience in the Fabrication Industry. Facilities include a covered factory area of nearly 1 Acre, with 9 overhead gantries, and 3 Acres of yard space.
